For me it is!, butload of US shows drop on a Monday and it's all rather hectic. So what do you watch?

Your viewing habits seem to reflect your personality, so what does this say about me?

Mondays- The Hills, The Big Bang Theory, Two & A Half Men, CSI Miami, Heroes, Greek, Gossip Girl.... :o

The Hills.. ? Well, that doesn't say anything good about you I'm afraid.

It used to be Telly Tuesday for me last year. One Tree Hill, Prison Break then Desperate Housewives.

I'm partial to Thursdays are Funniest on E4 though - New My Name is Earl, Big Bang Theory, then the Inbetweeners :D

Love Gossip Girl.. Is Greek any good? Where's it on?

Greek plays on BBC2 and 3, they should be starting season 2/3 later on. ABC Family are currently broadcasting season 3 in the US.

Thursday, No signal & American dad

However, no signal is gone now...

So I don't really watch the tv much, apart from Prison Break & Lost.

Lost is still on?? Have they not been on that island for nearly 6 years at this stage?

Monday night really is a top night alright.

My tuesday (after work) lines up a lot like this at the moment.... (depending on availability)

Big Bang Theory, Chuck, How I met your mother, 24, Heroes, Castle, Gossip Girl.

The real challenge I find, is trying to watch all that if there's been champions league football on, and I'm not getting stuck into it till half 10, or eleven or whatever.

Many a bleary eyed wednesday has ensued ....

    They landed on the island..

    Some escaped.

    They returned.

    Some left

    Some returned

    The rest returned

    Some left

    That sum's up the 6 years :)

So I didn't miss anything then no...:D Last one I watched they had found a secret underground war bunker full of everything they needed (handy!) and it was all the Hurley's dream in a mental institution.

Might have been a cool spin if Buffy writer's hadn't thought of it about 5 years previously

Next one to speak bad of 'Lost' gets the mighty ban-hammer on their 'Greek Gossip Girl in The Hills' loving-asses...

.... oh.. just try me! ;)

Ah no.. say what you want about it but it's became an incredibly structured show... but then again last week in 'The Hills', Melody found a Dolce & Gabbana dress with half-off!1!!1!!!1 LOL ROFL-COPTER etc.

And in 'Gossip Girl', Britney slept with Josh who in turn slept with Jemima who gave the "Hivveeeeeeee" to Melody.. who then found a Dolce & Gabbana dress with half-off!11!!1

And then the cycle continues for 22 episodes!

    Nonsense..

In the last episode, Charlie slept with an attractive woman who was it turns out.. a bit of a skank.

    WHO KNEW!!!?!?!

He then dated Denise Richards.. and went to jail for being an abusive arsebag. Oh wait.. that's actually Charlie Sheen.. nevermind!

Then the overweight kid in the show ate something.. and was accused of being a dummy. But he had the last laugh.. as he ate cheesecake from a sock.

    Oh, the laughs!

I like Two and a Half men. Or maybe since Frasier seems to have disappeared from Paramount/ Comedy Central (!!) I just find other comedies funnier.. like Scrubs and Rules for Engagement.

Also, They would NEVER buy a half price designer dress on Gossip Girl. Eugh.... You know nothing! *hair flip/ withering stare* :p

I love seeing the prejudice towards "Lost" from people who haven't watched it but sit and pass judgement based purely on an irrational dislike for the show based on nothing more than maybe the odd episode they have caught or the preconception they have fabricated over time in their head about what kind of show it is or what its about.

I only say this because i used to be one of those people until i was sick recently and while being bed bound for a week decided to give "Lost" a chance. A show which when before questioned about before i would always rubbish without any cause or reason to do so.

WOW was i wrong. Give it a try maybe you are too.

    Amen brother!

While I reckon a lot of people gave up on 'Lost' after all the questions and little answers.. they're missing out on a show that has became extremely consistent, fascinating and well-structured.

    Ah well, their loss!

For real!...Blair would pull out all her hair before she'd buy a discounted dress!

I have to say though, i think season 2 has not been as good as the first season, Chuck is still my fave character...i like his slime factor ;)

I have watched a fair bit of Lost, it just bored me to tears....seriously, the producers we leave all you guys hanging when it ends, watch 90210 on e4 tonight at 9 and then Gossip Girl at 10 on TG4, do it guys!

    :-)

I was assuming we were talking about monday night in the US, so tis fair to say I'm watching em less on channel XY, and a little more via the power of the interwebz.

Couldn't tell ya offhand what channel they actually broadcast on in the US.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 21,634 ✭✭✭✭Richard Dower

The CW = Gossip Girl, Greek = ABC Family, ABC broadcast Big bang Theory/Two & A Half Men/CSI Miami, NBC = Heroes, MTV US = The Hills season 5.

Heroes is a big one tonight, finale next week!

Basquille, you dont let anyone off light regarding LOST, sadly im one of them who lost faith or simply got 'lost' if you'll pardon the pun, i think the last ep i saw is when the island moved!,
'well the earth didnt move for me' IMHO.

That's the last i'll say about it as there are fans that stayed with it.

Btw: how did you quote opr, b4 he posted here, if i dare say it lost for words

It had a load of silly mistakes so I deleted the post to edit and repost it but in the mean time it had already been quoted.

Whatcha mean I "don't let anyone off light regarding 'LOST'"? People are entitled to their own opinion. You've watched until recently, which is fair enough, but I'm referring to the people who quit after season 1 or 2.. who put down a show they haven't watched in 2 - 3 years. I was largely bored to tears for season 2 but since then, the show has went from strength to strength with the latest season widely regarding as one of it's best.
    e
People keep telling me I was mad to quit 'Supernatural' after 1 season with it's constant 'monster of the week' formula but it's apparently become quite a show. So I'm re-watching it!

My psychic abilities come from my avid 'Lost' watching! ;)

Mondays - L&O Criminal Intent, unless it's a repeat, which it usually is (new episode this thursday though), BNTM

Thursdays - E4 is the best - Big Bang Theory, The Inbetweeners

Every day - I'm getting in to My Name is Earl more and more. I tried resisting, but it's quite funny, and it's on directly after first-look Holyoaks (dinner time!).

Friday's used to be good with all the quiz shows then rounding off with Wossy, but it's not the same anymore :(

Could anyone tell me what day/time Rules of Engagement is on? I can't seem to log the time in my head (my own personal Sky Plus) to remember to watch it.

Think I might watch too much tv...

Monday nights is the biggest viewing night of the week hence all the good shows.

This is why TV3 launched The Apprentice on a Monday Night and the same goes for RTÉ putting Prime Time Investigates and Who Do You Think You Are? on a Monday night. The same goes for RTÉ TWO for RAW and TG4 with Seacht and The Wire, Nip/Tuck.

ah yes, Mondays - love em cos they really feed my soap addiction!

Got Home and Away, 2 episodes of Corrie with Eastenders in between!
Then Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy :)

It's a good night in my house for TV, cos that's when I catch up on recorded and other stuff cos there's nothing to interest me in the schedule.

On second throughts, I do enjoy the RTE version of Grand Designs.

The only thing I really look forward to on a Monday is 24. Apart from that not much tv interests me so I just stick to watching movies.
