So someone in my class was complaing about having exams out in the RDS. Yet when I look at my exam timetable it says all my exams are in Upper Luce or Lower Luce. My amazing deduction skills would lead me to believe that this is somewhere in Luce Hall, but now I'm a bit confused. Am I mistaken, or is my friend an idiot? Thanks

Upper Luce and Lower Luce are both in Luce HallI imagine, though they were referred to as Sportshall and something else last year I think. The exams in the RDS say RDS quite clearly

When I used to have exams in the RDS it would say RDS on the timetable... Maybe your friend was complaining without having actually read it? Or maybe THEY think Luce Hall is in the RDS

Most of my exams are in the RDS. Gonna be a right pain to get out to.

    Tis alright.

Get the DART from College to Sandymount though, it's like 5 mins from there, makes life tens times easier, especially when exams are involved.

Or you could get the 45 or 7 bus. They're quite common, and leave you pretty close to the simmonscourt entrance. The RDS is also only about 5-10 mins walk from the 46A stop in donnybrook.

45, 7, 4, 4a, 8, 5 (I think?) all go by the RDS. Last bus stop along Nassau street basically. Traffic can be a pain though...

The bus cuts mean that from the end of this week the 45 will only come in to town as far as the RDS. So unless you're travelling in from the southside, it's no longer an option. But there's a rake of other buses you can get - anything that stops at the last two bus stops on Nassau Street.

Wait, the 45 ends at the RDS now? Noooo... :(

Huh? Wow, I should follow Irish news more carefully... are any other routes affected? (46A?)

http://www.dublinbus.ie/News-Centre/Travel-News/Service-Changes-12th-April/ Seems to be the info about it. 46a is grand. Bit of a pain, I get the 45 home most days. :/

Don't listen to anyone else, the timetable published by the exams office is gospel.

So Upper and Lower Luce are in College?

Yes, one's in the old gym hall upstairs, the other's on the ground floor, probably in that classroom. Though I haven't been in there since the gym was there

The RDS is pretty close, should totally walk there if it's a nice day. That's what we used to do.

Yep, the upstairs one is in that massive court (where the climbing walls used to be), the downstairs one is in the old gym room. Still smells of sweat :(
