Just come across this in last weeks paper down here, does anyone think this would be worth €100 for 4 hours????(Not my cup of tea personally also do not deal with the agency in question)

We are running half-day seminars in Galway on 30th April & 1st May (also running in Athlone, Sligo and Dublin) where you will learn how to:-

    • Create an effective CV and cover letter using best practice templates

    • Find the hidden job market

    • Find jobs online

    • Prepare for an interview

    • Anticipate and answer the tough questions

    • Manage your body language

For almost 20 years, our team of recruitment consultants has been advising and preparing people for job interviews, and placing people in jobs across Ireland. Our knowledge of the local and national job market is extensive and more importantly we know exactly what employers look for when hiring someone for a job.

Investment: Only €100 per person (includes course materials).

Seminars are limited to 15 participants so book early to avoid disappointment.

On a one-to-one basis, maybe, or with a max of 3, but 15 people? Don't think you'll get a lot of feedback. Dunno. Doesn't sound the best. Bet it'll be full of recently redundant people who are from long term jobs, that want to find out how to get a job.

Sounds like the agency had a brain storming session on how they can generate any income in the current market, and this was their idea...

My take on this is if you aren't too confident about your CV and interview skills, and you have no problem spending €100 down the pub, there are worse things you could do then throw €100 at this...
