2 year outlook for sterling

Hello all, quick question here. I realise that everything is quite chaotic at the moment, but what would you say the medium term outlook is for sterling vs. the euro? Imagine a purely hypothetical fellow had the option of taking a payment in either euros or sterling, and was planning on sitting on said payment for quite a while, regardless of which he chose. Might he benefit from choosing the sterling option?

My personal opinion is yes, given that recovery in anglo-saxon economies tends to be more pronounced than continental ones, however I'm very open to perhaps more educated opinions and links. What do you think?
