Heat Pump Repairs in Cork?

    Hi everyone,

    I am looking for someone to service/repair a Nordic Geothermal Heat Pump in the Cork Area. For various reasons I do not want to use the original supplier (Nordic Dealer), and would welcome any recommendations for a plumber/engineer familar with Geo's and related plumbing.

    Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    No definite suggestions, but when my heat pump went I rang around the local companies that did Air-conditioning and Dairy refrigeration. They have the expertise and equipment, at least for the heat-pump itself.
    I found one small company that was very helpful, not in Cork though!

    There is a company in the Marina Commercial Park make heat pumps - they might be able to help

    I think theirs a guy out near Macroom (Jimmy Allen Services) who fits and maintains heat pump. Dont Have a number but bound to be in the yellow pages

    I know an excellent service technican in galway but i think cork might be a bit of a stetch for him.

    The geothermal company in the marina park is www.geostarengineering.com. I'm not sure if they would actually service machines especally models other that there own. However they would probably be a able to point you in the right direction.

    I've attached the current list of registered sei installers. You could try installers in the cork area on the list. Only pick the ones with an x in the geothermal section beside their name.

    Hi - can understand why you didnt want to use the dealer:mad:, did you ever get someone to look at it, i have a nordic heat pump too
