    just a quick question really...

I moved my neteller account to USD as I was always getting screwed with exchange rates...

I just withdrew a few bob from my ipoker account which is also in USD and when it got to my netter account it was - 8 euro approx..

Is this normal? have I been charged somewhere along the way?

The amount of the withdrawal was small and the 8 was quite large by comparrisson.. so I'm really afraid if I go to make larger transactions..

    opinions and experience please?

There are no withdrawal charges, but on one or two sites (eg Paddy Power) they transfer from the ipoker client (dollars) to the main sportsbook account (euros) and then send it to neteller who stitch you up on the exchange rate back to dollars again.

    What site is it?

Nope, not normal for green joker. Definitely worth querying with them.

Thinking about it again and I'm confused by you saying that it's an amount of euros that you've lost. Is your neteller balance still in euros or is it in dollars now?

It used to be that you couldn't change the currency of a neteller account, but had to close the old one and open a new one in the new currency, but this may have changed.

    dropped them a mail...

Both my neteller account and GJP account ar in USD..

In fairness to neteller a while ago I asked about changing my account to USD and they explained about hving to close my old account open a new one but they did it all for me without hassle and transferred my balance etc..

    Ok issue resolved...

As usual prompt reply from Mike..

Turns out although my balance shows in USD on green Joker it is actually in Euro and I get hit for buy/sell rates I guess
