Fair play on the guarantee Rob, looks like a good tournie. If I'm out of the Brucepoker pub league game by then (most likely) I'll be up.

Whats the best way of getting to this from town - taxi or does a bus service this place?

Castleknock train station (Maynooth line from Tara or Connolly) is right beside it. Come out of the train station and turn left heading over the bridge and just keep walking til you see it on the right (thru one set of lights I think.

Great day Rob and well run as usual.

Well done to all who cashed.... should have hung on for the deal...:(

It was a very good game - well done Rob!

It was really generous of the chipleaders to suggest taking money from the top to pay the entire final table. :) Was thrilled to make 3rd place, considering I was shortest stack starting final table with those monster stacks in play! :D

Unlucky Horsebox1, I had you pegged to go all the way...

Well played electra running deep into the FT. (Nice Pic too...:o)

I was annoyed with my push at the end for a coin flip for the blinds. Played well up to that. It was that time where I had only 3xBB left and everyone was pushing at this point with those monster stacks!!!

That was some PF 3 way with my AA, 66 & 88.... I could hear my heart beatin.....:p

    Patience.........Patience.......Patience

See ya at the triple header next week.

LOL That was a sick move on my part alright! ;)

A quick explaination behind that: I had you covered thrice over. I knew you had a monster, but he was a LAG taking advantage of position. He raised UTG/CO/Button positions a lot, he stopped raising UTG after this and kept raising into my BB on the final table. He was UTG here and raised slightly higher than the standard 2-3xBB raises, in the aim of taking the blinds down. When I called his raise, he didn't look happy, then you insta-shoved. He actually hestitated looking at me before calling your all-in. I sensed weakness in that, putting him on a wide range small pairs 22-55 or J10/JQ/KJ/KQ/A8-A10... I felt my 66 was ahead so I shoved aiming to knock him out while only losing 6k in the process.

I couldn't believe that after calling your all-in for 50% of his remaining stack, making it 70% of his stack already in the middle, he folded to my shove!?? I doubt he had 88 as he would have called... he only said it after the 8 came on the river.

    Hmmm?!
