Advice would be much appreciated on this matter !

My partner has just noticed (after we were investigating an issue with our sewerage) that our neighbour has a pipe leading into our percolation system on our land:eek:
We have only moved into the house after we bought from his parents and they have no recollection of allowing this pipe to be connected.

It is a rented house and of course nothing to do with the tenants. So he has contacted the Landlord but they are playing dumb.

Are we entitled to remove/block the pipe as it is on our land? If the neighbours decided to sell the house, would there be a boundary issue in the future?

    Thanks in advance!

your neighbours may have a legal basis for a connection to this system, do nothing yet....

unfortunately, this can be considered a legal query and isnt allowed on this forum.
My advice is to contact your solicitor and get him to establish once and for all whether theres permission for this connection.
