problems connecting applications to internet

    hi, I'm having problems connecting to itunes, google earth, safari etc, basically any application I have that requires internet connection except internet explorer, Ive tried all the solutions offered by apple and google and i cant get it to work, does anyone hve any solutions? it just started all of a sudden, thanks

    have you installed any firewall software?

    ive uninstalled and reinstalled, ive cleared the dns cache, ive checked the firewall and its set up to allow it, ive fiddled with the SSL cert etc and nothing! i did download AVG software a couple months ago for a trial version, thats expired now, would that have anything to do with it?
