    I love the original pictures, not many roads signs in them.
    What is the white car behind the beetle and caravan on the 2nd page?
    Is Okinawa RHD or LHD as its part of Japan and the cars shown are LHD.
    The nun's car, when were they last built? I think I remember them in
    Ireland about 20 years ago....

    Okinawa switched to LHD/drive-on-the-right when the US military took over, and their influence (still considerable there) lasted until '78 when they went back to RHD/drive-on-the-left like the rest of Japan.
