I seem to be having a problem with my DVD-RW drive. Mr DVD DVD-RW work fine , but Tesco and Kodak don't work. The green light flashes and then goes static green. Nero freezes.

    Solutions anyone?

Is there any way around it?

Try reducing the burn speed by half and try again, if they are all coasters, bring them back and complain they are a defective batch, most likely to get a replacement knowing Tesco no quibble attitude on most things.

set burn speed to 2x, if no improvement in burning try cleaning the cdlens.switch off verify disk.YOU should have at least ten gig hd space free.

Might be worthwhile updating the DVD-RWs FIRMWARE aswell, As newer firmwares can bring better compatability with media
