My golf trolley ran away from me today in castlecomer and toppled over into a stream... long story short I managed to recover everything (except my confidence..) but all me headcovers are filthy, does anybody here wash them in the washing machine or would this ruin them??

    Thanks,
    K

I have put headcovers in the washing machine before and they came out fine. I guess it would depend what type they are though.

Give them to your mum. There's nothing a mother can't wash. Just make sure she doesn't try to iron them. Mine would no doubt try and put a crease in them.

    surely this is a windup?
presumbly it would depend on the material, if it is machine-washable then go for it

Obviously a wind-up because everyone knows that golf courses are flat (particularly castlecomer) and they never have streams either...

I saw one of those mobile pet wash vans up the road the other day & I was going to ask them if they would shampoo my headcovers as they are kinda woolly.
I decided to get them dry cleaned instead, just to be on the safe side:D

Think you can get disposable ones now too which you discard after each round.

Use Ariel Color powder, you don't want the colors running
