    Hi just looking for some help with this question.

    Details:

    Regression equation

    E(Y)=54.75 + .72X1 + 2.78X2
    Rsquared= 99.86%
    N=15

    Whats the Fstatistic?

    I got a crazy big answer so just looking for any help.

    Thanks:o

    In general terms, the F statistic is the ratio of the variance in Y explained by the regression model divided by the variance in Y not explained by the model. Given that you have an Rsquared of 99.86%, the model predicts Y almost perfectly, so virtually all the variance in Y is explained by the model and there is hardly any residual variance not explained by the model. A large number divided by a very small number gives a "crazy big answer".
