I'm renting out a house and need some cheap wardrobes. Where are the best places in Dublin to pick up a cheap wardrobe?

Buckley's of Sandycove usually have a few in their Thursday auction. Herman Wilkinson of Rathmines is also worth trying.
In general there is no shortage of stand alone wardrobes; it is a buyers market

How much would you get one for?

From €50 upwards; some would even be value to recycle or for firewood!

You should try Oxfam on Francis st as they can have bargains.

Old post I know, but I'm really happy with the deals I recently got from this guy for a house to rent. Good quality stuff, no junk which breaks within a month.
