Apparently two gay people ventured outside the George and into a "straight pub" and chaos ensued.

Nothin' from any news sources, still very early though. I hope it's nothing too serious.

Estimate on number of emergency vehicles / severity of situation?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,817 ✭✭✭pebbles21

They found a badly decomposed body near the long hall pub

apparently there was a medal and chain draped around its neck!

It had "1958 hide and seek champion" engraved on it

I have it on good authority that the Garda Armed Unit were involved. Apparantly a few Bolivians were plotting to assassinate Brian Cowen to teach us a lesson.
    Guards blew them away.

Duh! Everyone knows that Georges Street is in Dublin.

Clearly not everyone knows where the Dublin City forum is.

Um, how about "You're there, you tell us"?

What the hell is the point of going "Guys, I've just got back from Georges Street, what's going on?"?

Is it really very likely that any of us are on Georges Street, like in The George, texting Boards from our mobiles?

    Really?

Oh, okay then, I hear the next stall over, Turd Ferguson, is agreeing.

a bunch of english lads on a stag weekend got lost and ended up in the george by accident, someone rang the cops reporting a huge crime against fashion, a fight broke out and a queen was injured. the rumours spread down georges st like wildfire and everyone thought the queen of england was making a secret visit to dublin and was being assaulted so they sent the army in with willie o dea in the front line. when everyone in the george heard there was willy outside on the street they all caused a stampede running out the door ,but when they saw a little man outside with a moustache that hadnt been seen in the area since 1987 the **** hit the fan.

A kick boxer got his balls stuck in a sink hole in the George and he vaguely resembled one the most wanted al-Qaeda sought in connection with a the theft of a cherry picker that was used in a terrorist atrocity that involved the sodomy of a donkey.

    http://www.rte.ie/news/2009/0419/dublin.html

In typical RTÉ style it doesn't say exactly what burned down, but mentions "An investigation is under way into the fire, which is believed to have caused extensive damage to the commercial building."

    WHICH COMMERCIAL BUILDING?!

I wonder was anything there awaiting planning permission? ;-)

It WASN'T a fire, it was two flaming homosexuals having a flare up - don't be a bloody drama queen.
