WARNING: '28 Days Later' Blu-ray

    Just a heads-up, I bought the '28 Days Later / 28 Weeks Later' Blu-ray pack recently.

I read it was a poor transfer of '28 Days Later' as it was shot on a standard definition camcorder (the Canon XLS1, to be precise).

But seeing as I got them and the Blu-ray pack of 'Nightwatch / Daywatch' for €24, I said it won't hurt as I always meant to watch '28 Weeks Later' again.

But the transfer of '28 Days Later' is just beyond woeful.. it seems worse than DVD quality and I should know - as this is my 3rd copy of '28 Days Later' as I own the standard copy, and the special edition! :D

But it's simply the DVD transfer blown up and looks very over-exposed.. the sound is excellent and justifies the purchase in my mind. But just flicked through it there and to be honest, I'd find it hard to watch the Blu-ray copy.

Just a warning as I have seen it cheap lots of places - CDWOW are selling the Blu-ray for about a tenner - less with those plentiful €4 / €2.50 vouchers.

Good analysis of DVD Vs Blu-ray
