Opinion on an Audi A4

    Was looking at a 1997 Audi A4 1.8L with 70k Miles in a garage today, seemed to be in good nick. They were pricing it at under €3000. Anyone got any experience or advice if this car would be worth getting.

    €3K for a 12 year old A4 is madness, it is only worth half that, €2k max if it was a minter.

    Ditto, absolute max 1K and assume the mileage is a fairy tale... Audi's of that era are very different from the current crop...

    overrated and overpriced .... they quite a small car for their class also


    & a 1.8 petrol is gonna burn a hole in your pocket

    well IF the mileage is true, there's a service/NCT and it's a minter it might be worth a punt at 2k if you intend on keeping it for a bit.

    1.8 will be fine on your pocket driven sensibly:rolleyes:
