Glanza turbo into ford ka

Right as the title suggest, i've been thinking of doing some heart surgery. After getting very bored with the car scene and how its turned, the lack of folk doing odd things anymore i've been looking for a project thats not the norm and prob hasn't been done before (to the best of my knowledge).

So i've an 05 ka, with wiring problems (loom was chewed by what i can only think was a RAT!) and a 96 jap glanza turbo with frontal damage (bonnet and wing) sitting idle.

Glanza's don't make money anymore, so no real point to fix it up as i won't drive it. Ka will need the loom pulled out and swapped with a new one. bit of a ball ache. so while i strip the ka for repairs, why not go nutz and fit it with glanza turbo running gear? Obviously this involes alot of work, and fabrication, but what i want to know is, just how much fabrication and will it actually work, bearing in mind both cars are 100% complete so have ALL parts for both.

I'd need custom engine mounts, custom drive shafts and just use the glanza loom and ecu and alot of work on the gearbox selectors ?

Ha ka-lanza i like it. This project is a his and her's...his warped thoughts, her ka:D

Everyone seems to like it...in theory. He's on a bit of an old skool modifing buzz at the moment, bring back the days of modding outside the box....better work or he's outside...in the dog box:mad:

Everyones suggesting using a 1.8 or 2.0l silvertop or black top engine from the gen 1 mondeo etc, but their showing him sites that sell harnesses and engine mounts to do the job, which defeats the purpose in his little brain, if theres someone out there selling parts to do the job, then its obviously a common thing to do, so why do it? whats unique and outside the box about it? out OF the box maybe but cornflakes come out of a box, their not special either:cool:

Waiting to get more info, do the research fully and see if it'll work, their sayig things about clearance of the bonnet and actually having room under there for the engine, time for the measuring tape!

Keep ye posted. anyone with anymore views/help/hints/knowledge please fell free top post here.

    Michelle.
