Well, I wish I watched the previous couple of episodes, because I was very rusty with where everything stood in the prison break universe. The "Previously on Prison Break" segment just wasn't very good at all.

All in all it was a good episode. Nothing outstanding, but good fun - more riddles, codes, twists and turns, but it was only above average. One holy s**t moment
    (boom)
    but standard stuff otherwise.

    Good to have it back!

Ye for a show that hasn't been on in about 7 or so weeks, you would think they would do a better "previously on" segment. I myself was a bit rusty on what was happening.

Overall it wasn't too bad. Good to see the mother is actually fairly evil and a b!tch :) obviously linc won't die but she did order for him to be shot.Hopefully they won't suddenly make her good near the end. I hate when shows do that. No problem trying to have your sons killed a few episodes before but in the end Ill be a mother and do the right thing blah blah...if they do that I'll be very annoyed! :P

December 22nd was the last one, so its the guts of 16 weeks.... (yep, its been that long)

Just finished watching it and I felt a little disappointed, I didn't think it was great, Ok the bit where mom gave the go ahead was a little unexpected but overall it wasn't worth the wait. I hope it picks up for the last couple of episodes that are left.

The Sunshine State is on this Thursday at 10:00pm and then next week at 9:00pm they are showing the episode "Vs." which comes after "Mother Lode", so it appears RTÉ are skipping an episode or they have got their EPG information wrong...

Me neither. Only found out by accident. Poor ep though, it was always better when Michael and Linc were together fighting The Company.
Also, their Mom trying to have them killed is a little bit too far-fetched even for Prison Break! We'll have to move Tony Soprano's mom to number two in "The Most Evil Mom's Of All Time List".
The bit with Michael and Sara in the truck was silly too, I mean why didn't the company guy just go in the back and shoot them when he knew they were there, rather than drive away? You'd think the company would know not to underestimate Michael at this stage!

Poor episode I thought, why not just shoot the general? If there had been over an hour from the explosion to the phone call why is he just getting bandages put on now? So Michael just escaped, handy that. The bad guy not spotting the door being prised open, just dumping the body on the road, disappointed after all the wait

i just dropped by to see the poll - im about 6 episodes behind and im amazed its sunday and only 5 votes on the poll.

Season 1 at about 4.30 am and you would have 5 votes. People have rapidly lost interest in this show - im one of them. I am going to catch up but im waiting till i have nothing to watch - re-watching death note now

I wouldn't be surprised if people didn't know it was on Friday. I know I didn't.

I thought it was poor. When things are interesting and fun, I can ignore the stupid stuff, but if an episode bores me, it sticks out so badly. Such as -

The hitman after Scofield and Sarah at the start deciding to take aim at them a fair bit of distance away instead of casually walking up to the car for 2 simple shots, and deciding to blow up the car with the general inside instead of shooting him. Aaaargh.

Not really enjoyed the show since Don Self betrayed the team.

I agree, I could even live with Self betraying them if they had ended it with Them getting it back off him instead of Michael being taken away by the company.

I really hope they end the show on a high because they could have ended well on at least three occasions. If they had just ended the show at the end of season 2 with them sailing off into the sunset I think it might have been my fav show ever.

having seen it i felt it was abit of an anti-climax , maybe thats just got to do with having to wait since December since the last ep

Definitely a bit of a let-down as i watched it today, especially a long lay-off since Dec & then to keep us in suspense by tryin to bump off Linc?

Its now in the dreaded Fri slot, but it knows its had its day anyway.

RTE must have something wrong with their epg as it always tried to upstage $ky eg. LOST...

If anyone's interested there's more action in the prog before it ::D

Hmmm, it wasn't too bad. Parts of the story are frayed at this stage and some silly writing has crept in but i'll see it out till the end.

But every PB episode has a great ending to it. Wouldn't be watching it otherwise. I didn't think it was as good as I was expecting, but I haven't seen the previous episodes in a long time.

Good episode. Liked the way at the very end the mother gave the order to have Linc shot. Don't like the thought of her being a mother Teresa type character especially after she abondoned her kids. Would rather she just be another ruthless villian like the general, which hopefully after giving the orders she is.

Knew the guy chasing Michael was with his mother. Gonna make for a enjoyable 5 episodes as they close out the series.

It could be that I'm out of the Prison Break mindset, but I really didn't enjoy this episode much. The twists (like trying to kill the General) just didn't shock or interest me. It seems like the writers are trying to hard! I was enjoying this season, so hopefully I'll get back into it before it's all over.

I'm thinking that maybe Christina doesn't want Michael dead. The guy chasing them only fired once, if I recall correctly, when Michael got out of the car. It might have been a warning shot.

I don't think they can air programmes before they've aired in the US. I recall before I think it was the second season aired in US on Mon and Sky/RTE2 competed to both have it on the next night Tue.

I'm wondering about that myself. Why does she want Michael killed?

Oh I'm really looking forward to the rest of the episodes. Will be sad to see it finish but I guess it can't go on forever.

    Dreadful episode.
Its just become too far fetched now,too many twists and turns, illogical decisions.
    Silly.
The acting seems to have deteriorated drastically too,Linc and Michael are like two cardboard cutouts. As for the actress playing their mother, she is rubbish.

Your fantastically insightful and deft use of the Dollar sign to represent the money-making tendancies of Sky (part of Rupie Murdoch's News Corp!!) made me pause for a moment and feel sorry for simliarly inclined Americans. $ox?
