    Whatever you do, don't ring 998. I rang it once. I'm still getting the nightmares, but the uncontrollable freak-outs are just about dying down.
    In fact, recently my house went on fire, and rather than risk accidentally dialling those three evil digits from hell, I stood outside watching it burn to the ground, awash in a sort of manic relief.

    Don't dial it.
