    Smashy smashy! :(

Anywhere in Dublin sell these? Online would also be fine if it's a lot cheaper.

Disaster, doubt anyone sells the glass on it's own. Most good homeware stores should stock the whole unit though.

Spalsh out on the Columbia - best thing I ever did, no more smashed glass!

In ye olden days Roches stocked the replacement glass. Home Store +More might be worth a punt.

I gave up on the glass ones and bought a full metal one, means I can chuck it in the dishwasher with no worries.

it's cheaper to get a new one in tk maxx than it is in some place for the jug alone

Metal sounds good. Thanks lads. I thought I'd seen the replacement glass for sale somewhere before so I'll have a look around. This unit does have some sentimental value (it came from my wifes auntie who has since passed away).

You can get replacement glass in Fallon & Byrne, Brown Thomas, Stock and Meadows & Byrne.

Oh I can understand then. Try Stock just outside Stephens Green SC - I am sure I have seen the glass in there. Maybe you could replace the glass in it, but then buy a steel one (a la the Columbia, I think Cafe de cuba website has a good price on it) to use most of the time, so the other one won't break again and to keep it safe?

I've smashed my small bodum a few times and have gotten replacements in Mahers in Cork for 9euro I think. I assume they also do large replacement size.
