From what i've heard it's only open to the US. According to IGN anyway.

Exactly, why does it have so much hype? The game it self will cost the guts of €10 and they decide to release a beta for it? Would they not be better off releasing a demo of the game so everyone gets a go?

Well if its some sort of multiplayer game they probably need to stress test servers etc
It does say you can only play it on tuesdays and thursdays, cant be true
Anyways i signed up for gamespot and then you have to email them your gamespot id and your psn id. Couldnt find an email addy to send to so got bored searching.
Unless a beta code falls on my lap i wont be playing this any time soon.

Was on the gamespot blog apparently.

All keys are now gone. One of the T&Cs was that you be free Tuesday & Thursday evenings for testing, which could make for some late nights for IE users since it's the US beta.

I would imagine they will do something similar in EU to stress test the servers at some point.

It's pretty good. Hilarious. Even the menus and bots are funny. The class system has more depth than I though it would (coming from someone who loves team based MP). I think the game is getting a lot of hype because it's just so much fun!

I don't know how much I'm allowed to say with it being a closed beta, so I'll check that out and report back. I can't play online except between the hours of 6-10 PST on Tuesday and Thursday, which is what, like 2am-6am here? Heh!

IGN are talking out of their butts, the US PS Blog said that players from any country could apply so long as they could play at the designated times. I applied for a code at GameSpot using my EU PSN anyways. I did have to use my American account to redeem my code though...

Ha I won't be on PS3 till next friday though . When is this game out it looks alright so it does. I am sure Qore subscribers will probably be getting the beta or possibly even the full game.
