I called to discontinue my SKP SPORTS 1, 2, 3, Extra package and they reduced by overall bill payment by 11 euro pm for next 6 months.

I just called SKY to join up as a new customer and they offered me:

1/2 price Multiroom for 12 months
    Free install
    Free SKY+ box
Free Standard box (the 2nd box for the Multiroom)

thats decent enough I think, as I had expected the SKY + box to cost €49.

However they would not allow me avail of a 2nd offer - the "Recommend a Friend" offer, and my friend who referred me will not get his €75 either.
They said it they only allow 1 offer per customer, pity that my friend loses out though.

    See the offers here
    http://www.sky.com/portal/site/ireland/offers

I think they also offer €25 if you join up online.

We (independant installers) have been doing that for 2 weeks now. And the 1/2 price multiroom has been like that for a while now, Also the Standard box is free anyway for new customers:D But good deal non the less!

I'm looking to get the above offer, I currently have Sky and my dish is playing up. If I rang up today to cancel my Sky, how soon would I have to wait to get the wife to ring up and order the above offer ;)

Hi hellboy, If you want to rejoin up in your wifes name, cancel first, then in a day or 2 you can call em up. But if you have a landline do not give it as they will recognise the number and they wont give you the new customer offer...make one up if you can but try ringing up the fake number first to see if its not in use then use it. Sky will be non the wiser :D

If your worried that the box will give sky your real number...it wont sky boxes dont recognise phone numbers.
