For coffee I just have sugar free vanilla syrup, but I have swapped coffee for tea in a new diet.
Now I have 1 level teaspoon of sugar in my tea. Looking to replace it with honey but just can't get my taste buds around it.

Anyone drink honey in their tea? Not earl grey or herbal tea, honest to God tea (as my Granny says)

Two sugars. I always intend to cut down gradually, but I can't. I'll be injecting it soon at this rate.

i used to take two, then i went down to one, then i stopped taking it altogether. If im out having tea somewhere i may put one in or two if im feeling naughty or the tea in said establishment is muck, which can happen! However at home i dont put sugar in my tea! Which is where i do most of my tea drinking! :)

    Two sugars on coffee
    None in tea
When I'm on a health kick I drink Blackcurrant tea

Sugar in tea makes me nauseous! Can't understand it at all, tbh.

I'd occasionally take half a sugar in coffee if it's particularly strong.

last year I was on 2 sugars

then I cut it down to 1 sugar
now I can either drink it plain or I usually go for 1/2 a teaspoon!

Have to have sugar in coffee though!

no sugar ever, its ruins the taste of good tea or coffee, all you can taste is sugar!!

I used to take two in my coffee in work. They had no sugar for a week or two, so i had to go cold turkey, well it was still hot ...eh... When they got the sugar back in I happily threw two sugars in it, unable to resist the allure. Nearly puked...can't touch sugar in coffee anymore, even in feckin maxwell house!

Don't drink much tea but when I do I don't take any sugar.

Used to take 3 spoons of sugar in my coffee (about 15+ years ago). Slowly cut down the sugar until there was none. So no sugar in my coffee for as long as I can remember now. I like to taste the coffee :o)

Similarly in the coffee vein. I used to drink instant all the time until I got a Tassimo machine. Great yokes. I buy the T-Discs online and that's all I drink now. I can't stomach instant anymore and if I'm over in a friends house I'll have a cup of tea instead of instant coffee.

I'll never put sugar near coffee* but I take one or two teaspoons in a cuppa (black) tea - Depending on what time of day it is.

*Unless it's instant. In which case I'll try dilute the taste to not offend whoever's given it to me...

One sugar in my tea first thing in morning for a kick start then none in my coffee through the day - i love the taste of coffee.

None. Don't think it improves the taste in any way.

And whatever about coffee, I find sugar in tea to be revolting.

I normally just pour the sugar in from the bowl but at a guess I would say around 4-6 spoons in tea and coffee. I loves me sugar I does.

You should try pouring from the cup into the sugar bowl, might save worrying about teaspoons :pac: :p
