hi i am currently on jobseekers allowance since i was made redundant about 7 weeks ago...i have found a job which will be a few hours each day on mon, wed, thurs & sat. Am i entitled to claim for other days I am off. i will only be working 23 hours x 8.65 which is 198.95...which is less than jobseekers allowance weekly payment :( can anyone advise

As far as i know, you can only claim if you work 3 days or less (may be corrected on this)

If you had done those 23 hours in three days you'd be entitled to claim. Unfortunately even if you only work one hour a day, it counts as a full day and you can't claim for it.
