All Ireland Football 2009 query

    I am organising a sweepstake in my local on the 2009 Football championship and i was wondering
    a) What date is the first game in the the competition
    b) Is there going to be a Tommy Murphy competition this year.

    First game of the championship is 11th May and at the top of my head it is Mayo v New York and Longford v Wicklow I think.

    There will be no Tommy Murphy Cup this year.It was scrapped as teams were not interested in it and wanted to go into the qualifiers.

    The Longford v Wicklow game is on 24th May in Portlaoise. Think it might be a double header with another match too.
