Fairly normal street around 1983.... Anything crazy parked on the street you grew up on?

We'd a Rover 2000, my Dad's Carina II and Bluebird, there was a Fiat Panda, plenty of Fiestas. My Mother also had a Humber Sceptre, and a Triumph Herald. Oh, and my brother had a Datsun Cherry held together with the metal from biscuit tins, and isopon. It was supposed to be red, but he sprayed it in a cold garage one night, and it ended up being pink in the morning :D

There was a black one of these parked beside the school when I was in primary school, 25 years ago, a TVR Vixen, always remembered the MK2 Cortina lights.

The coolest thing on our street was a Mk1 Capri, although a couple of lads were restoring a FIAT 500 in a garage down the lane. I can still remember the smell of the paint, 70s solvents were the real deal.

I certainly remember seeing lots of Fiat 127's

and there was a Datsun 120y near us too, actually there were lots of crazy cars near me growing up. I remember a Simca being parked on the street a lot!

My next door neighbour was a teacher and had one of these

Then traded it around 1986 for an XR2i like this:

My Dad could never understand how a teacher could own such 'prestigious' cars!

Actually when I went to school there was a sporty Fiat convertible under a cover across from the school. I always expected to see it all shiny and running again. That's well over 20 years ago.

It's still under the covers :(

The guy at the top of the road had a Fiat X/19 - that was the coolest car ever!

My headmaster in primary school drove one of these bad boys:

Always thought the full width lights/reflector on the back was just like something Cannon or Mannix would drive. The vice principle drove a zypher iirc.

In secondary school, my funky art teacher drove one of these sporty numbers (same colour and decals as well):

Elderly lady down the road had a pristine Herald estate up until the late eighties - it pretty much only went to the shops at the weekend. The white rubber bumpers were a lovely touch.

My old man had the coolest car on our street; a FIAT 131 SuperMirafiori :D
Mum had a Simca 1100, most people have never heard of it.
