    hi lads,

ive tried some boots and at the moment have the addidas world cup boot. After about an hour i can't take it anymore, sore arches, pains up my calves. I have a low arch in my feet, im wondering has anyone had experience with this and could recommend a boot to help?

I've had similar problems with my feet in the past. As a rule I tend to stay away from the adidas boots as they tend to be a much tighter fit in general then the other brands. I wore the nike tiempo boots for while and found them excellent.

I'm currently wearing Puma kings and reckon they're the most comfortable pair I've had.

Your physio should also be able to order you s special type of insole which helps prevent that kind of pain. Can't remember the name of it off hand but I'm sure if you explain it to them they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

A suggestion may be to try a set of propertary insoles in the boots. they are made of a rigid plaster. These give a solid base and better shape to your foot.
I got a pair for snowboard boots and used them in football boots on hard ground.

I'm the same, wide feet and fallen arches. I've often looked at the World Cups but knew they were just too narrow. As has been mentioned the Nike Tiempos are a good fit. I bought my first Puma Kings a month ago and they're also very comfortable.

thanks i might try them out, i was looking at some orthotic insoles but they were way too wide. I know the addidas tunit f50 comes with arch support but can't find them in ireland!

Have no idea if these would work, but they are small money, and couldn't hurt... ouch
