    Hi,

Do VW Golf mk5 TDI cars have the same badging structure as the mk4?

Does the mk5 use red letters to indicate more HP, as I have only seen all silver letters.

If so does anybody know what HP each badge has?

    Thanks

The use of varying amounts of red letters on the Mark 4 was never a reliable way of telling which variant the engine was.

Your only real source is to find out the engine code which should be on a label in the spare wheel well.
