Shoes made to fit

    Hi everyone.

Not a big fashionista but I do need your help. I have odd feet. Always have always will. There is nearly a half size in the difference of the two and they're wide. Since breaking my ankle last year, the struggle of finding shoes & boots has gone from tough to impossible!

I'm a big girl and I walk a lot which can be quite tough on the shoes that I have. I got a pair of MBT's to try and get back into the swing of things. I hate them especially during the summer and rather than buy something that doesn't really fit I'm willing to splash out. I've found this site

www.duoboots.com and am looking at forking out over £200 for a pair of boots. As I'm not a fashionista and I hate my body, shopping is my idea of hell and I only ever do it when I really need to. So I wanted to see if anyone here has used the site and if so what was your experience in comparison with buying things in a shop?

The other thing I wanted to ask; does anyone know of a shoemaker in Dublin. I heard a rumour that there was a guy in Clontarf, but I don't know the area and can't think of where he'd be. He doesn't have a website and the lovely Mary from 11811, hasn't a bogs nod WTF I'm talking about. Any help on this would be appreciated. :P

Loads of ladies on this forum have bought boots from that website including the mighty B and they will only tell you good things about the experience. Purchase from them with confidence.

Duo Boots are beloved in my house, because I have wide calves, sister has wide knees, mother has both. Super comfy, fit like a glove, high quality boots, buy a nice classic pair and they'll last you!
