Advice buying golf clubs

Hi,

I was wondering if I could get some advice from some experienced people I want to buy my fiance a set of golf clubs. He has been talking about buying a "Starter Kit" for sometime to see how he takes to it, and if he likes it he will get some proper clubs.

I was looking at this website:

There are three sets of clubs at €199.00. Would anyone have any recommendations on which one would be the best to buy?

I live outside Dublin so I can't actually go into the shop, and there is no decent golf shops in my area, so I can't go get advice anywhere.

The Ram FX black set at 199 seems a good deal, they
are £249 at direct-golf.co.uk which are usually pretty
well priced.

Ram have a pretty good name for starter sets.

If travel is a problem why not go to your local golf club with the price you have been offered and ask the pro will he match it.

I would say he will get very close to it.
