    I've seen a lot of blog authors complaining and giving out about Leif Hoste lately. Prima donna, whinger, whiner are what he seems to be called a lot. I don't really know anything about this guy, so why does he have this rep? Podium Cafe always use this when refering to him \o/

    They refer to him as \o/ because he's always waving his hands around. The guy just starts shouting, waving and generally looking liking he's about to blow his top any time things aren't going the way he wants them to. Trouble is, he doesn't really have the results to justify his 'patron' act.

    Did he not do well in Roubax last week? Having said that the arrival of Gilbert as lottos no 1 spring classic rider has dented him. I reackon he'll disapper come the start of May and won't be seen again till he is taken out of the ware hose to be sold in October. Lotto are having a dire season so far anyway and I don't think it's going to improve untill Cadel looses a few pounds:D

    Second three times in the Tour of Flanders (like Mr Kelly) but never won a major classic. I think after Lotto's poor results apart from Gilbert finishing third in Flanders, Leif will defo disappear from the payroll. He has always based his year around Flanders and Roubaix with the few semi-classics leading up to them. Yes he is a strong rider but think of last Sunday, 2 Lottos in the break and not one on the podium and remember Leif wasn't doing any pulling at the front as Van Summeren was working his ass off. Not good enough, however you do have to feel a little sorry for the guy. Those races are savage. (What a race last Sunday! It had everything except the rain! This has been a great start to the season, hopefully the Ardenne Classics will be as good)
