As the title says I have just deleted all my photos (mistakenly) off my laptop. Is there any way of getting these back??? There were two locations marked as "pictures" on the D drive and I thought that if I got rid of one I would still have all my pics on the other location..... big mistake..

Any help or ideas would be appreciated... thanks

Check the Recycle bin, if they're there you should be able to restore deleted files

I presume you checked the Recycle Bin on the desktop?

If they are not in the recycle bin, try Recuva:

    http://www.recuva.com/

The safest thing to do right now would be to kill the power on your laptop (ie immediately) and use another computer to attempt any recovery of the data (by removing the drive from your laptop and using an external USB enclosure). Otherwise your OS may just overwrite the now 'empty' space in the course of normal computer use, and any recovery attempt will be impossible.
