    :mad::mad::mad: Hi I have a problem with this virus starting today:
    I note other people seem to be having problems but I am worried about trying to solve the issue without specific advice.

    There are two users on my computer me and my wife and different things are happening when you log on the either of us I will explain


    1) When I log on to the computer:
    • Win PC Defender pop ups come up continually trying to get me to scan computer and buy the software.
    • I had AVG free 8.5 but that seems deactivated, I was also unsure how well it was working as it also kept trying to get me to upgrade but I ignored this
    • My security centre is unavailabe. Somehow deactivated
    • I use Firefox and cannot not log on at all
    2)When I Log on to the computer under my wifes profile:
    • Firefox no longer works
    • A microsoft (possibly fake) pop up comes up continually asking me do I want to turn on microsoft Phising
    • I am sending this using her internet explorer which is very slow but works
    Can anyone suggest how I may get this off my computer and if too complex for me to remove could anyone suggest somewhere or someone to do sort it out
