It's 139g/km according to the revenue VRT calculator
    https://www.ros.ie/VRTEnquiryServlet/showCarCalculator

what are your reasons for needing a figure?

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Holland and Denmark IIRC, Denmark really gives their citizens a ravashing with Taxes and the VRT on your average Danish car is like 120% of say the UK price. I can't beleive the danes have not rebelled against their Government as they are taxed to the gills and their country has similar services (or lack of) to Ireland, and Copenhagen ranks up there with Finglas.

Dutch variant of VRT is called BPM.

In Holland it works like this:
Dealer price + bpm + vat (on price and bpm) = what you pay for it.

Car prices in Holland make me believe irish cars/prices are bargains.....

At the other hand, insurance is lower and based on the new price of the car. Road tax is about the same as in Ireland but the roads in Holland are much better. There is also no toll.
Fuel prices are 25/30 % higher in Holland.

That is right, there is 2 tunnels. No one is using them though :pac:
Especially the Kiltunnel is being avoided.
