Has anyone done a whale and dolphin spotting trip before while in Tenerife... If so, did you get to see much and was it yacht / catamaran or boat?

    Thanks

yeah the trip we went on was a catamaran quite a large boat compared to everything else in the harbour, the name of the boat was the Montecarlo.

there are lots of different companies offering tours in the harbour at Los Cristianos, we decided on the Montecarlo because it looked better and far more sea-worthy than some of the flimsy boats on show, cost was approx 20euro for 2hours, saw 2 pilot whales together about 10 mins after leaving the harbour, after that we were swarmed with dolphins, the dolphins stayed with us the rest of the journey even riding the bow-wave back into harbour, the montecarlo boat also has a below the waterline look out point which is a cool feature

great experience would highly recommend, the yellow submarine tour is great as well, a little expensive and on the short side but its a once in a life experience
