Just watched this film with my son.Years since I saw it,and it has really dated well for a film that is over 20 years old.Forgot how much fun it was.Jeffery Jones as the principal is great!!.

I'm not a John Hughes fan, but Ferris Bueller is one of the most charismatic and enjoyable teen movies ever made. It is just pure fun. The phonecall with the principal is easily one of the funniest moments I've ever seen. It is also a rare example of Matthew Broderick perfectly suited to his role - a good comedy actor, but boy he chooses some awful roles.

This is one I watch on DVD from time to time. A great film that stands up to my memories of watching it as a kid.

I watched it again recently (own the 'Bueller... Bueller DVD').. and think it's stood up against the test of time particularly well!

The fashion is very 80's but the humour is still hilarious!

Yep,the one that sticks in my head is "oh yeah" by yellow its still very catchy.I think in was also in one of michael j foxes films.I have a vague recollection of him sneaking around a house in his underpants , while "oh yeah"played in the background.

I love the secretary in it. Hilarious"

Oh, he's very popular Ed. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, waistoids, dweebies, dickheads - they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.

And the way she looses that pencil in her hair as Rooney's on the phone (I think it's when Cameron phones as Ferris' dad but I could be wrong.)

    Waistoids..... Must remember that

    ... let my Cameron goooooo.

Infinitely quotable film .... "Cameron is so tight that if you stuck a lump of coal up his ass, in two weeks you'd have a diamond"

Nice cameo from Charlie Sheen too ... "Drugs?" ... "Thank you, no. I'm straight"

    :D
