I couldn't believe this when I heard it on the radio, even reading it online!

I don't know but it would probably involve several reports, a public awareness campaign on the dangers of breathing near open forest land, a glossy pamphlet to accompany the campaign, some more reports, a statement by Harney, a following statement by Drumm and then 6 months later a public inquiry into the death of a man who paramedics couldn't get into the back of the ambulance because the doors wouldn't close due to an extensive root system protruding from his right foot.

Mary Hearney and the HSE would create a new department with a few 130K salaries for a few tree consultants.A new Hospital unit would be built but never actually open because of budgetary cut backs, the consultants however would be entitled to a back dated pay rise.:p

I read that Pat Kenny also had this problem, a tree surgeon operated on it leaving a plank behind.
