Anyone know if O2 are capping thier speeds?? Just tested my alleged 7.2Mbps connection and my true download speed is 200Kbps-500Kbps average! So the "This page cannot be displayed" page pops up more times than can be tollerated! Thinking of terminating my connection if this is the case. Please help.

Midband speeds are not guaranteed, even more so than broadband. Speed will depend on location, ambient conditions, number of other users in the sector, etc.

Just take a quick look through this board. You will notice that 90% of midband users never even reach speeds close to 1-2Mbps let alone 7.2..

This boards user, watty, has some good posts on the reasons why your speeds are slow..
