Do you want to spend money with it or what? Bigger engine?

if you wish to stick with Honda and looking for something larger, how about a '02 1.8 Accord. Good value, well built, decent spec. and drive very well.

The E46 is generally reliable enough but not as reliable as a Honda though. E46 3 Series from 1998 to 2001, smallest engine was 1.9 litre btw.

    Honda > everything else...

its not moust nicest looking car, or spec donkey like bmws and mercs. But it is reliable as hell it self...

So if you whant something bigger, then go for accord, there are 1.8 engines aswell. If you whana something smaller, but newer, just go for newer civic :).

To op, its hard to give you advice with info you got. Give us more info, so we can help you better.

    p.s. i dont drive honda :D

How much do you want to spend? What will you be using it for?

well just goin too and from work to be hoest the only other time i drive is when im transporting my drums.

im guess im just sick of everyone thinkin im some sort of knacker for driving a civic. i do love the car and ive never had a problem with it however the accord does sound good to me.

    ( i thought the 3 series would come in a 1.6 model?)

If taxing a 1.8 car frightens you OP, tread very carefully.

Cars are moneypits. All of them.
