Car Insurance Query

I'm looking around at quotes for car insurance, with FBD I've added my wife to my policy which doesn't change the price. There is however a question asking who is the main driver of the car. If I say my wife €70 is knocked off the price.

Has anybody ever done this with FBD? I still presume that if there is an accident that the claim will be on my policy and not hers.

If they do pay out. Lying on an insurance form is a very bad idea, you still pay the premium but you give the ins co a way to void your cover in the event of a claim.

The policy is in your name? Then if there is a claim its the policy holders NCB that will be affected. Reason it jumps down 70 euro is because your saying your wife will do more driving than you and she being female etc is a lower risk than you so for a greater percentage of the time the car will be at a lower risk of being involved in an accident...if you get me?

Its not lying as this may be the case.
