Has this trend not died out yet?

Damn it, don't have blue ray. Nothing on the regular dvd.
I don't think they'll put out any official trailer until they do the scenes in Italy with enough Dakota Fanning & Michael Sheen (playing Aro) in it for the purposes of garnering some street cred from movie critics.

God I hope its better than twilight

The Blu Ray was released at the same time as the DVD and there are no plans to release Twilight on Blu Ray again, well at least not until the new film is in cinemas.

    +1
I understood what was going on, particularly the scene where she goes into the lab & Edward just acts like a mental person. But I couldn't figure out how anyone who's not read the books would know.

I arrived home from work a week ago to find my girlfriend watching 'Twilight'.

Or simply put - a bunch of pasty teenagers looking sullen (but quietly intense) in a grimly lit backdrop..

    .. Christ, I wept!

Love this scene as it would'nt be out of place in a cheap porno.

    Oh, that music is LEGEND...

    .. wait for it..

    .. DARY! :D

What pretentious twaddle.. it's embarrassing to see people lap this muck up.

I mean say what you want about Harry Potter, they're for the most part incredibly well-made and engaging. I personally couldn't tolerate this film whatsoever.. the baseball scene with Muse playing over it! ** shudder **

I did'nt hate the film but the school room scene had me laughing so hard I cried. Peter Facallini was the only good thing about it and while I was looking forward to meetign him at the London Sci FI con in July to get my Fastlane DVD signed I realised that he would be mobed by 12 year old Twilight fanatics.

The Potter films are great, I dislike the books immensly but the films really are fantastic.

See, as discussed here the movie probably wouldnt make sense unless you read the books. I would recommend them to people though, definitely. I think that possibly some people are too "cool" or "manly" to even consider reading the books, even though they're great for any age.

Anyway, I'm gonna stop before this gets embarrassing for myself... :/

I tried to read them but they are easily the worst written pieces of trash that I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. They novels are unoriginal, badly written, poorly researched, ineptly edited and full of so much filler that if it was all removedt ehre would barely be enough left for a novella.

Dude, that was a pretty powerful BASHING of the books. I admit, they are repetitive in parts... but they're not THAT bad, are they? God I read all four and love them (despite some parts not being not the most epic writing of our time).

They are that bad. The last book in the series featured in most critics worst of lists from last year.

Then maybe its just good for certain people and for over-indulging the delusion unrealistic ideals that wimmins do be having. Yeah, thats it. Thats probably why everyone else thinks its shít.
