Concrete shed poor foundation

Hello, my concrete standalone shed 3mtr*4mtr built with blocks and a tile roof is subsiding, leaning over and cracking walls, built 11 years ago at same time as large house extension by a contractor supervised by an architect. My insurance company today say it not not covered under my policy as the residence is not subsiding also! Probability is that the foundations are insufficient. Do I have a claim against the architect or the builder?

Unlikely after 11 years - structural guarantee on a new house is 10 years.
If this is only appearing now, some alterations to surrounding ground ie. excavation or drainage changes must have taken place.

Get thee to a solicitor immediately, if the contract was under seal, then the limit is twelve years. If under hand six years.

It would be strange for an 11 year old building to suddenly start subsiding - does it have anything built next to it or any drains or pipes under it?

That sounds like bs from the insurance company. Contact a professional insurance assessor, not a loss adjuster and get their opinion. Also talk to the broker who sold you the policy.
