Which of these was Munster's best performance. If a mod thinks of another match, add it to the poll.

imo the QF vs Gloucester is up there.

For me, it would probably be either the lsoing semi with Wasps or the winning semi-final with Leinster.

The Wasps game was incredible, they gave everything, inspite of injuries, and the ref totally murdered us with two harsh binnings (complete bull**** ones too, imo)

The Leinster game was different, we'd been very close to successful but there was a fear that we just might be doomed to never win the thing. If Leinster had won, they might have gone on to dominate Europe whereas the Munster team would probably have broken up. We had a lot of injuries in the build up, and had to bring on an unfit Hendo after a few minutes but he held it together brilliantly. We just completely shut out Leinster. Oddly enough, I reckon that result will give Leinster a slight edge in this years semi final.

Considering the opposition, weight of expectation around the occasion and the unavailability of front line players I actually think the all blacks game last year was very much up there.

If you're considering competitive matches only then it's a tough call.

In fairness it's a very subjective question, and really it's just your fondness for a particular occasion that would decide it I guess.

    The Miracle Match vs Gloucester.
Tough, tough one to call. The ruthless efficiency against Toulouse in last year's final is often overlooked. The win against Toulouse in the semi final in 2000 is another.
I'm going to go completely against the options on show and go for last year's pool game against the Scarlets in Stradey Park in the monsoon. That was absolutely incredible.

I'd have Saracens at home in 1999 at the top of my list.

Leicester 2003 was so very satisfying after all that went on in the 2002 final, great performance.

The win over Touluose in Bourdeaux in 2000 has to be it for me. They broke down so many barriers with this win and in my opinion it set a standard for all future Munster teams to aspire to.
