Pain in my tooth after getting temp crown

I had a temporary crown fitted a week ago while I wait for the permanent crown to be made. I've started to get a pain in my tooth today, is it normal to feel a bit of pain after getting a crown?

the temp has probably gotten a bit loose.call your dentist who can easily remedy it.

hi georgie!!
has the tooth been root - canaled? if not it should be done before the crown is put on. i presume its not because its hurting. see if he puts the permanent crown on then the tooth pains you have to take it off and do the rct. when the temp is on its a good indication of how it will feel with the crown on so have it looked at!!
