what cover up to wear with this dress?

I got this dress to wear to a wedding,

and Ive no idea what kind of cardi/jacket cover up to get for it. would a pashmina work? any ideas would be great thanks!

Firstly, I'd like to say WOW that dress is gorgeous!! You'll look lovely, and it's a great colour too.
Personally, I'd go with a pashmina or some kind of wrap. Either in the same colour or go safe with black. Even an orange would go lovely with that but that depends on your accessories.

yeah i think black might be a good bet. im keeping acssessories to a minimum as i am putting a fabric flower of the same colour on the shoulder to cover the diamante detail cos it looks a bit naf

They have lovely scarves in penneys at the moment! I got a lovely cream one with a gold thread going through it! Its thick enough and long enough to be worn as a wrap!! Id wear something like that with some pretty gold sandals and costume jewellery, but id make sure the gold isnt too orangey, a nice paler gold would look perfect with that dress!

I would go wit a cropped jacket or something (silver would look amazing against the purple). I think a scarf would dress down a fancy dress like that. Black would accentuate it nicely as well.

That would look amazing with a really structured cropped jacket.

Personally if I had the figure for that dress I'd be looking at a rich emerald or burnt orange to go with the purple, and the jacket would look great over a really simple longer white tank and black skinny jeans too...

I second a silver wrap or structured jacket. Silver is amazing with purple.

ive only ordered that dress but its good quality. its double layered so it doesnt ride up.think it took ten days to deliver
