Anyone else find it extremely annoying that COD WAW puts you into game lobbies that run the expansion maps when you dont have them?

They're ploy to annoy people into buying the maps wont work with me, and is actually making me more determined not to purchase them

Yeah it's very annoying indeed. I remember COD4 didn't do the same if you didn't have the variety map pack.

Don't buy them anyway, I don't think they're that good at all.

Yeah I've no intention in buying them, but the amount of times I've to exit the game lobby because a skipped addon map is followed by another addon map is ridiculous and actually detracting from my overall enjoyment of the game.

    Down with Treyarch!

I can understand your frustration but I have to say i'm impressed with 2 of the maps( Knee deep & Nightfire) . Wouldn't rate 'Station', seems to be alot of campers but its seems better suited to S&D.

I would spend the €10 and get the maps. it means if you're having a good run with the same team you can continue without having to leave. Its only the price of a packet of fags really, you'll get your moniess worth.

I do agree however that they should not put you on to these maps if you haven't the add-on.

If you play online with friends 10e is grand for the fun you can have on the zombie map. However i had to wait a while to get the maps and i hated the way the new ones were put into the normal gameplay, having to find new lobbys was a pain.

Maps really aren't to good either.

Station - One dimensional map if I ever seen one, only one way to run and one to flank. Stupid.
Nightfall - Camper map. People just hide in corners in the buildings.
Knee Deep - Good map but completely unbalanced for search and destroy.

The new zombies is good though.

Ya Im finding that pretty S****y alrite that I end up leaving lobbies and actually end up changing the type of game (from TDM to HQ) because of the new map paks.

If you hate the game so much, and you are so outraged by the measly ten bob the new maps cost; why are you playin the feckin thing!?

If you have the map pack, selecting it and only getting to play those 3 maps gets boring. The fact that they are mixing it up with the old and new maps is a good idea in my opinion. It keeps it from getting monotonous.

    New Zombies >>>> 10 quid

I never said I hate the game, but this was a fairly sh*tty way to treat their customers. I don't think you can deny that.

In COD 4 the maps are rotated like in COD 5, but you wont enter a game lobby for a map that you don't have. I still bought the expansion maps for COD4, but it was my choice without annoyances like this.

I won't be paying that "measly" ten bob because I refuse to reward companies for behaving like this.

Its annoying but all you have to do is quit and search again, its not a big deal. And the new Zombie map is worth the tenner alone btw.

WTF  No map is worth a tenner

Soft console gamers and their soft money, no wonder developers are favouring consoles over the pc.

I regularly play this game on pc, online CO-OP even (I have ways :D), I wouldn't dream of paying a penny for it though. I class the game as no more than an add-on for COD4 (which I bought, respect to Infinity Ward), which is what it really is
