sure if they want them they can always put them in themselves. Ive never owned a car with alloys, they look good but are expensive when a puncture comes to town!!

Ya but I think the garage should have made some attempt at removing the red, or spraying over it again in black and putting a cheap set of hubcaps on it to sell it because they are just hideous!

No more expensive than getting a puncture on a "normal" wheel, after all its the tyre that gets punctured not the wheel.there is more to alloys than looking good, the serve a purpose too.

I like the look going on in that golf posted whether by mistake or on purpose he has achieved a very euro look, all its lacking is coilovers and drop it on its sump

    the car doesnt look crap:D

i dont think we need to get into another arguement on wether alloys are good or bad.

this idea was posted over DTD a few weeks back with a few links to cars that have it done already. it suits some cars and it doesnt suit others.

    good idea all the same.

I never have or ever could own a car without alloys, hub caps are hideous I just couldn't do without alloys. I would even say I wouldn't have alloys smaller than 17inch's actually in future(my current car has 17's).

Better handling due to lightness/design in turn making your car safer.

    +1

The are also big enough to fit over big brakes, most high powered cars need at least 17" or bigger wheels to clear brakes, steel wheels just don't work at that size.

Everything that isn't riding atop the suspension is sitting like a sack of spuds on the road.
    Less spuds = more nifty.

Yes, yes it was. IIRC it was for sale for about 4.5k. Made me laugh when I saw 4.5k. I'll just check to be sure, lol.
