When did they say that? If that's true, ffs Cheika is scraping from the bottom of the barrel (maybe that's cruel but there are better options).

Sorry what? Ross is a great player and will be the next irish tighthead. And that's regardless of whether he comes to Leinster or not.

Uhm, you clearly haven't watched Quins lately.

Ross is a great signing, both for Leinster and Irish rugby.

    Edit.

Ignore lists, give thanks for small blessings.

Yeah Ross is a big signing - front row options of Healy, Ross, Van Der Linde + back up of McCormack, Hagan, Knoop, possibly Harrs-Wright......pretty good options...

I've completely gone off the boil with Stan Wright this season, I think his scrumaging has been appauling, his fitness a joke, he's shown good dedication in the second half of the season, but first half was very poor....I think Ross would be a muh superior addition (as Wright is 90% leaving at end of season).

Would be nice to see Healy & Ross taking the green jersey also :p

Stan was fantastic against Quins, though I admit he hasn't had his best season. But it'd be a fickle Leinster fan indeed to write him off on that. I hadn't heard he's thinking of leaving?

Ross is a great signing though. Any word on Reddan???

What is the world coming to. Most of the Irish front row in the next year or so will be from Leinster.....

Next thing, most of the Irish backline will be from Munster :D

Doubt that one. But even if you look at the U20's at the moment, the squad is completley dominated by leinster academy and club players. Who knows if that will carry on into the national side...

Well chances are that Healy and Ross will be starting against the US in May and will hopefully start to carrying that through to the Autumn series. Hayes is pretty much gone now sadly, his scrummaging has really gone down the drain and i think we'v been very lucky to get as much as we have from him in both red and green but now i think it's time to pass the torch to Ross.

On a second note is there any stand out hookers coming through with Leinster at the moment as that is one position i think really lacks cutting edge.
