now maybe this varies from car to car but im just wondering if the standard 6 cd changer found in the 01-05 passat plays mp3 discs as well as cds? i know the b6 doesnt but am just wondering about the b5.5 as i cant find definitive answers on the net anybody have a b5.5 and know???? Thanks

The 6 CD changer wasn't standard, but in the B5.5 I think MP3 playing capability came in 2004. Wasn't in it from the start.
